A huge thank you to the Foyle Foundation for awarding our Thurrock Academy a grant towards our first ever dedicated library resource – a lovely, welcoming space for our students. We can now offer a wide range of reading material that caters for different interests and reading abilities – particularly supporting our students with SEND.
This fantastic resource will enable us to create an integrated literacy programme to improve our curriculum offer and learning environment; it marks a brand-new chapter for Olive Academies and we look forward to seeing our students enjoy their new library.
