Arrival / wellbeing breakfast: 8:30-9am
Lesson 1: 9am-9:50am
Lesson 2: 9:55am-10:45am
Break: 10:45am-11am
Lesson 3: 11am-11:50am

Lesson 5: 12:30pm-1pm
Lunch: 1pm-1:30pm
Lesson 6: 1:30pm-2pm

Student transport
OA-Th students are entitled to transport assistance, dependent on distance from their home to the academy. Transport is provided by the local authority and applications for transport assistance need to be made online. Information about closure of the academy in exceptional circumstances due to severe weather
Academy leaders consider the health, safety and wellbeing of all in our academy community when deciding whether they need to close the academy due to severe weather conditions. They consider:
- the distance staff must travel
- road/traffic conditions
- local conditions for staff who travel on foot
- the condition of the academy site
- the condition of surrounding area for parents/ carers and pupils who may have to travel on foot.
Every attempt will be made to open the academy as normal but, should the decision to close the academy need to be taken, parents/carers will receive a text or phone call from the academy office and an update will be posted on the academy website homepage.
Wherever possible any decision to close the academy will be made by 8.45am. Further information can be found in our Severe Weather Guidance.
