The programme enables students to immerse themselves in the world of beauty therapy, working towards nationally recognised VTCT Skills NVQ Level 1 in Beauty Therapy and VTCT Skills NVQ Level 1 in Nail Art Application qualifications while experiencing what a career in the industry is really like.
Learning takes place in a professional salon setting, where students combine practical, hands-on training with classroom-based theory. As their confidence grows, they also have the opportunity to gain work experience in salons, working alongside industry professionals and interacting with real clients.
Experiencing the pace, standards and expectations of a commercial salon helps students develop not only technical skills, but also professionalism, communication, confidence and customer service - qualities that are valued across a wide range of careers.
