Olive Academies attracts people who care about removing barriers to learning. From teachers, governors and senior leaders to administrators and support staff, everyone has a role to play in the success of individual academies and the network as a whole. Partnerships with charities, education providers and other organisations also help to contribute to the wellbeing of our students and we are always interested in potential connections.
At Olive Academies we offer our staff access to ongoing CPD, leadership training, a supportive staff team, flexible working patterns, part-time positions and access to one-to-one coaching. We provide all members of staff who join Olive Academies with a full induction programme.
“Working with young people with social, emotional, mental health needs is challenging but the rewards are immeasurable”

Olive Academies is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and we expect all our staff to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the DBS.
“I heard Mark Vickers, CEO of Olive Academies (OA) speaking at an event. I heard him describe the ethos of OA and his vision of what alternative provision could and should provide children. I liked what he had to say and thought, I want to be part of this. I got in touch and was so pleased, a year later, to be appointed as an assistant headteacher and SENCo at an OA academy.”
