Olive AP Academy – Thurrock

Our alternative provision academy provides a broad curriculum to a diverse group of young people. We moved into our brand new academy building in Tilbury in July 2017. We cater for young people and children who have experienced difficulty in learning for a variety of reasons. We also offer support to students in mainstream schools who are experiencing difficulties and are at risk of exclusion.

Jo Hill is our headteacher at Olive AP Academy - Thurrock. She leads an experienced team who support our students to reach their full potential. Please read our Headteacher's Welcome to find out more.

Safeguarding children at Olive AP Academy – Thurrock: all staff at our academy take safeguarding children very seriously. All staff have been trained in safeguarding and child protection. If you have any concerns about a child’s well-being, bullying or e-safety, please contact the Designated Safeguarding Lead Charlotte Wright (or Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, Tracey Downes) via the academy office.

Our academy's SEND coordinator is Charlotte Wright; she can be contacted via the academy office.

The Olive AP Academy – Thurrock is part of the Olive Academies Multi-Academy Trust (MAT). For more information about our board members, our annual reports and accounts please visit www.oliveacademies.org.uk.
